Description

Trelona Accessories include:

  1. Advance Termite Monitoring Stations are placed in the ground ten to fifteen feet apart around the home and about two to three feet out from the foundation of the house. The Advance Termite Monitor Station contains a wood food source and an inspection cartridge for detecting subterranean termites. 10 stations/case.
  2. The Advance termite bait station cap is made of hard black plastic and covers the top of the termite in-ground bait station. This is only a replacement part in the event that a cap on one of your stations has cracked or is broken. 25 caps/package.
  3. Advance Termite Baiting System to monitor for termite activity around your home. The Advance Termite Inspection Cartridge contains Puri-Cell cellulose monitoring matrix to attract termites for pre-baiting. By pre-baiting, termite workers establish eating habits within termite stations, and the TIC can then be exchanged for Termite Bait Cartridges with active ingredient. Cartridges should be replaced every 12-15 months, regardless of termite activity. 25 cartridges/case.
  4. Advance Termite Monitoring Base (TMB) is a wood base placed in the bottom of each monitoring station to monitor termite activity. The base is composed of 63 grams of preferred wood with horizontal grooves allowing for easier access by termites and maximum wood to soil contact. 100/pkg.
  5. The Spider access tool is used to open the Advance Termite Bait Stations. This tool makes inspection so much easier and faster. Prevents having to use hands and possibly contaminating the station. Made of heavy duty construction with a comfortable grip handle. 1 tool/package.
  6. Trelona compressed termite bait has an active ingredient, novaluron, which is an insect growth inhibitor. When Trelona is eaten by the termite, novaluron harms the ability to properly synthesize and inhibits the termite to molt. When this is consumed by a termite, it will impair the ability of a termite to properly synthesize chitin and disallow the termite to molt. By being unable to molt, they are not able to form a replacement exoskeleton. Termites will either die or are incapacitated by their inability to complete the molting process. Consumption of the bait will cause the termite colony to decline, and by continued consumption, the remaining termites may result in the total elimination of the colony.
