MSA V-Gard slotted caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA A89.1-2009 (Class E), and CSA A94-1-2005 with 1-Touch and Fas-Trac Suspensions (Class E). V-Gard caps meet the voluntary standard for low tempreture [LT] and reverse donning as prescribed by ANSI/ISEA Z89-1-209. Look for the official reverse donning logo to determine if hard hat may be worn backwards without voiding approvals.
